Disclaimer

Last updated: October 2026

This disclaimer explains the scope of the V2Ray Open Source Hub’s content and your responsibilities when using it. Please read these terms before browsing tutorials, using download links or changing client settings. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

1. About This Site and Its Services

The V2Ray Open Source Hub is the official V2Ray website, offering user guides and software download links. Its content covers installation, subscription imports and routing in v2rayN, v2rayNG and v2flyNG, as well as technical information about the Project V, V2Fly and Xray ecosystems.

This site provides documentation and links to obtain software; it does not provide nodes, subscription accounts or network access. Client, core and configuration providers each have their own maintenance and service scope. Information on this site does not guarantee the performance, availability or configuration quality of third-party projects. Refer to the license supplied with each project for its specific terms.

2. Software Risks and User Responsibilities

Choose a client based on your device’s operating system, processor architecture, network environment and needs, and assess whether configuration sources are trustworthy. Proxy, DNS, routing and virtual network adapter settings can change how your device accesses the network. Incorrect settings may interrupt connections, cause name resolution issues or app conflicts, or expose information.

Before installing, upgrading or changing settings, back up your existing configuration and learn how to disconnect, restore the system proxy and undo related network settings. Subscription URLs, share links, access credentials and runtime logs may contain sensitive information. Do not post them publicly or share them with untrusted parties.

Use software only as permitted by applicable law and within the scope of any authorization you have, and follow the rules of your network and relevant services. You are responsible, as provided by law, for risks arising from your choice of software, imported configurations or changes to system settings. This site does not guarantee any particular connection outcome or uninterrupted availability.

3. Tutorial Accuracy and Version Differences

Tutorials reflect the versions available when they were written or revised. Client and core updates may change menu names, layouts, default options, protocol support and configuration formats. Illustrations explain the general workflow and do not replace prompts or license information in the software itself.

We make every effort to check our content, but cannot guarantee that all information is complete, accurate or suitable for every device and environment. Protocol performance, resource use and battery life depend on many factors; technical descriptions are not test results for any specific device. If the interface differs, first check your client and the core it actually uses, then consult the user guide. Do not force older steps to fit.

Download links and references in our documentation may lead to files or pages maintained by third parties. They may be updated, moved or taken offline without our knowledge. A link does not mean we endorse all third-party content or guarantee any third-party service.

Before visiting an external page, downloading software or submitting information, verify the destination, software name, system requirements and privacy policy. Handle third-party data practices, account management, fees and service disputes under the terms published by the relevant provider. We cannot control the availability or subsequent changes of external resources.

5. Limits of Liability and Updates

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for indirect losses, business interruption or data loss resulting from reliance on documentation, changes to third-party resources, software failures or incorrect configuration. Any liability we are required to bear under applicable law remains subject to that law. This disclaimer does not replace rights you have under applicable law.

If you find an error in a tutorial, a broken link or instructions that do not match the current interface, see the FAQ and troubleshooting guidance in the relevant tutorial. We may revise this disclaimer as our services and the software ecosystem change. The text published on this page and its last-updated month indicate the current version.
