Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy covers visits to V2Ray Open Source Hub, navigation within the site, and links to client downloads. The site provides client information and configuration guides as static content. It does not offer account registration or require an email address. Data handling by client software, subscription services, and external websites is outside the site's control.
1. Data We Collect
When you visit a page, the infrastructure hosting the site receives network information needed to fulfill your request, including your IP address, request time, page path, response status, and browser request headers. This information may be used to serve content, diagnose access issues, and detect unusual requests. It is not displayed as public user information.
The site does not host subscriptions or accept configuration uploads, and does not ask you to submit server addresses, subscription links, connection passwords, or client logs. Importing configurations, connecting, and managing routing as described in the guides all take place in the client software you use. Simply reading a guide does not give the site access to your client configuration.
2. Analytics and How We Use Them
The site uses analytics to understand page views, referral sources, device and browser types, and how visitors use client download links and platform selectors. This information helps us identify content needs, improve navigation, and troubleshoot compatibility issues. It is not used to make eligibility decisions about individuals.
Analytics requests may include the current page URL, referring page, and interaction events. Do not include subscription credentials or personal information in query parameters on site links, as they may be recorded in service logs or analytics data. We do not claim unverified anonymization or a fixed retention period. Access to records should be limited to personnel and service processes that need them for site maintenance.
3. Cookies and Browser Storage
Page scripts and analytics may use cookies or browser storage to save essential interface preferences, analytics identifiers, or visit status. Whether data is stored depends on page features, analytics settings, and browser restrictions. Platform choices may also be restored from a URL fragment, which is not a cookie.
You can view, delete, or restrict this site's stored data in your browser's site settings, or use your browser's tracking protection. Clearing stored data may reset some preferences and make analytics incomplete; static guides will remain available. If you share your device, consider clearing your browsing history and downloads as well.
4. Download Sources and Third-Party Links
The downloads page lists release files for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG based on a version manifest. Installers are not hosted alongside the site's pages. Download requests may be routed through a site download path or served by a file host specified in the manifest. A matching domain name does not mean the site developed or stores the files.
File hosts receive the network requests needed to provide downloads. When you follow an external link, the destination site's own policies apply. Before downloading, check the client name, operating system, and file type. This policy does not replace the terms of software projects, file providers, or subscription services, and does not cover network activity by client software after installation.
5. Managing Your Data and Getting Help
You can stop visiting the site, restrict scripts, or clear site data to manage records stored in your browser. Clearing local data does not automatically delete existing server logs. Records across different service processes should be handled according to their actual maintenance needs; clearing your browsing history alone does not confirm that they have been deleted.
For information about configuration privacy, see the relevant sections of the FAQ and user guides. Before asking a question, remove subscription URLs, account credentials, and other identifying information. The site does not ask you to submit a complete configuration or identity documents.
6. Policy Updates
If data handling, analytics settings, or download processes change, we will revise the relevant terms on this page and update the date at the top. You can find the current policy through the privacy link in the footer. Any new data collection purpose or feature will be explained separately; existing descriptions do not constitute blanket consent for all future uses.
